Opera Southwest: New Year’s with the Opera, at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, 1701 Fourth Street SW, 2:30 p.m. A fun variety show featuring Opera Southwest’s most beloved performers, the Albuquerque Youth Symphony and the Opera Southwest Chamber Orchestra, with various opera favorites and light classics. Tickets are $50-$70. The after-party tickets are $145-$165.
