Join the NHCC Book Club at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, 1701 4th Street SW, 5-7 p.m. The club will read When I Sing, Mountains Dance by Irene Sola. This novel tells the story of Domnec, who is struck and killed by lightning in a village high in the Pyrenees and is surrounded by the ghosts of 17th-century witches. This spellbinding novel showcases human dramas that unfold against the uncontainable life force of the land itself.
