Freedom 4th at Balloon Fiesta Park – 5000 Balloon Fiesta Pkwy., 3–10 p.m. Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Albuquerque at Balloon Fiesta Park. This free, family-friendly event features live music, local food and beer, free kids’ activities, and the brightest fireworks show in the state. Headlining the evening is country star Hunter Hayes, with performances by local favorites. Schedule: The Danny Duran Band, 4 p.m.; La Ansiedad Norteña, 5:15 p.m.; Michael Moxey and The Easy Sinners, 6:30 p.m.; 4th of July Ceremony, 7:30 p.m.; Hunter Hayes, 7:45 p.m.; Fireworks, 9:15 p.m.

The event is free. Parking is $10.
