2026 Polar Plunge

2026 Polar Plunge, at Sierra Vista Pool, 5001 Montaño Road NW, 9:45 a.m.–noon. Take the plunge to support the Shanta Strong Swim Fund, which provides free swim lessons to children, and the ABQ BioPark Zoo’s polar bear and penguin enrichment programs. Prizes will be awarded for Youngest Plunger, Oldest Plunger, Largest Family, Largest Group, and Best Costume. Tickets: $40 to take the plunge, $50 to plunge the slide, $60 for two to take the plunge, and $80 for two to plunge the slide.
