One of the greatest joys of publishing Prime Time Monthly is seeing the incredible engagement from our readers. Whether you’ve searched for hidden icons in Search & Find, shared your thoughts through Prime Time Voices, discovered our monthly Prime Time Perks, or simply stopped us in the community to tell us you enjoyed an article, you’ve reminded us why this publication has been a trusted resource for New Mexicans for more than 36 years.
Thank you for continuing to make Prime Time more than just a magazine. Together, we’ve built a community.
Every month, we’re reminded that the strongest communities are built through connection. A single article can introduce someone to a valuable resource. A local event can spark a new friendship. A trusted business can make life a little easier for a family navigating the challenges of aging. Those meaningful connections are what Prime Time has always been about, and they continue to inspire everything we do. We believe that by bringing people together and sharing reliable information, we can help make New Mexico an even better place to grow older.
That sense of community is exactly what inspired the NM Aging Well Initiative (NMAWI)—bringing together organizations, businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders who share a common goal: helping older adults, caregivers, and families live healthier, more connected lives.
I’m excited to welcome DSH Entertainment as our newest Wellness Partner in the NM Aging Well Initiative. Their commitment to helping people stay active, engaged, and connected through music and entertainment is a wonderful addition to our growing network of partners who believe that wellness includes joy, social connection, and meaningful experiences.
I’d also like to extend a special thank-you to DSH Entertainment for sponsoring our Prime Time Perks during July. Their generosity helped us provide another fun opportunity to thank our readers for being part of the Prime Time community.
As the Initiative continues to grow, so does our vision. We’re working to connect trusted resources, educational opportunities, caregivers, healthcare providers, local businesses, and community organizations into one collaborative network focused on strengthening communities and improving lives throughout New Mexico.
In the months ahead, you’ll continue to see new partnerships, expanded educational opportunities, and innovative ways for organizations to work together in support of healthy aging. Our hope is that the NM Aging Well Initiative becomes a trusted hub where individuals, families, and professionals can discover resources, build relationships, and collaborate to improve quality of life across our state. We know this vision can only become a reality through the support of people who care deeply about their communities.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Your participation, encouragement, and support continue to shape what Prime Time—and the NM Aging Well Initiative—are becoming.
Here’s to another month of learning, connecting, and aging well—together.
Warmly,
Dana Benjamin
