Dear Prime Time Readers,
I hope you have been enjoying the fresh 2026 issues so far. There’s something about the start of a new year that feels hopeful — a clean calendar, new ideas, and a chance to grow in meaningful ways. As we move into March, I’ve been reflecting on how grateful we are for this community. Prime Time has always been about more than articles and events. It’s about connection. It’s about you.
That spirit of connection is exactly why you’ll begin seeing something new in this issue — and continuing throughout the year. We’re adding a few interactive features designed to bring your voice into the pages of this magazine in simple, thoughtful ways. Look for them in the blue and yellow boxes throughout the magazine. You’ll see one below this letter.
Each of these was created with you in mind. We’re including these features because we want Prime Time to feel like a two-way conversation. We want you to feel heard. We want your stories, ideas, and questions to shape what we publish. Over the years, so many of you have shared how much this magazine means to you — and we don’t take that lightly. These additions are one small way of saying: we’re listening, and we want to grow together. Community is strongest when every voice matters, and we hope these pages continue to feel like a welcoming place where your experiences and perspectives are valued. We encourage you to send in your thoughts, participate in the prompts, and let us know what topics you’d love to see covered next. Your engagement truly helps shape the future of Prime Time, and we are excited to see how these new features spark conversation and creativity among our readers.
You’ll also see an ad in this issue for our annual 50+ Health Expo — and this year brings some very exciting news. Not only are we celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Expo, but we’re also moving it to a new home at the newly renovated New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. Thirty years is a milestone we are incredibly proud of. What began as a community health event has grown into something so much bigger — a gathering place filled with resources, learning, laughter, and connection.
Hosting the Expo inside the museum adds something special. It’s a space filled with discovery and curiosity, and it gives us room to expand, welcome more exhibitors, and create an even more engaging experience for everyone who attends. You’ll be able to explore valuable health resources while also enjoying the inspiring atmosphere of one of our state’s most beloved cultural spaces. There will be opportunities to learn from local experts, connect with trusted providers, and discover tools that support healthy, active living. We truly believe this year’s Expo will be bigger, better, and a whole lot of fun.
Please come celebrate 30 years with us. Bring a friend, explore the booths, and enjoy the day. We would love to see you there. It’s a wonderful way to spend time with neighbors, gather helpful information, and be part of something that has served our community for three decades. We are so grateful to the sponsors, vendors, and volunteers who have helped make this event a success year after year.
As always, thank you for being part of the Prime Time family. Your support, encouragement, and readership are what keep these pages turning each month. We are honored to serve this community and excited about what’s ahead. Here’s to a bright March — and many wonderful issues to come.
