The Artist Conference Network (ACN)

ACN is a peer coaching process that accelerates breakthroughs in focus, momentum and empowerment in making art. We are artists working in every field: writers, painters, musicians, filmmakers, quilters, college makers, mixed-media sculpture, textiles and more (https://artistconference.com).
The journey begins at the annual Conference Weekend. New members learn the A C N coaching practice and renewing members deepen their practice. At the Weekend, members create a vision for their creative work, set yearly and three-month goals and experience the breakthrough coaching process. Goal partners coach each other weekly, and group members share their creative work every two to three weeks.
This intro to the Artist Conference Network will engage and possibly surprise you! Participants will be invited to share their own experience of making art whatever their media. Co-facilitators Kristen Anacker, costume designer, and Laurie McCann, mixed media sculptor, will facilitate a “taste test” of the ACN peer coaching process. We will close with sharing thoughts on creating an ACN chapter in New Mexico.
